Justin King

On graduating from Bath University Justin King joined Mars as a trainee, working first in production and then sales. After a brief spell with Pepsi and three years at Haagen Dazs, Justin King joined ASDA, then at the beginning of its recovery process. In 2000 he joined Marks & Spencer as executive director in the food division. Four years on he
was persuaded to join J Sainsbury Plc as chief executive to halt the slide in the grocer's market share. Since he joined he has made significant changes to the supermarket, including an aggressive price-cutting campaign, supply chain changes and the recruitment of respected industry figures to the board.
