Julian Richer

Julian Richer opened his first branch of Richer Sounds near London Bridge in 1978 when he was just nineteen. The venture grew into one of the UK's most successful retail operations and boasts an entry in the Guinness Book of Records as achieving the world's highest sales per square foot of retail space. His business interests now cover manufacturing, franchising and a property portfolio. His consultancy, Richer Consulting, advises some of the country's largest organisations at chief executive level on cultural change management, staff motivation, customer service, staff communications and staff and customer suggestion schemes.
