Alannah Weston

Graduating from Merton College, Oxford, Alannah Weston started her career in journalism, working on an arts supplement for the Daily Telegraph. She then moved to Burberry to become international head of press, just as the company was undergoing a revival under Rose Marie Bravo. Alannah, who says retail has always been in her blood,
finally succumbed to the family retail empire, becoming creative director at Selfridges in 2004.
