Lionel Barber

Lionel Barber (Financial Times)

Lionel Barber graduated from Oxford University with a joint honours
degree in German and modern history. He began his career as a reporter
on the Scotsman before moving to The Sunday Times in 1981 to become
a business correspondent. He joined the Financial Times as Washington
correspondent in 1986. He has been Brussels bureau chief and editor
of the FT Continental European and US editions. He was appointed
editor of the Financial Times in November 2005.
