Stephen A. Schwarzman

Stephen A. Schwarzman holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He began his career at Lehman Brothers where he became managing director in 1978 at the age of thirty-one.
In 1985 Stephen Schwarzman founded The Blackstone Group with Peter Peterson and a balance sheet of $400,000. Today The Blackstone Group is a multibillion-dollar global financial services empire spanning private equity, real estate, restructuring and corporate advisory work. Since 1987, Blackstone has raised over $80 billion for alternative asset investing.
